Democratic Party (Montenegro)

The Democratic Party (Albanian: Partia Demokratike, Montenegrin: Democratska Partija, abbr. DP/PD) is a conservative Albanian minority political party in Montenegro stationed in Ulcinj, founded in 2010.[1] Its President and founder of PD is Fatmir Gjeka, former deputy president of the Democratic Union of Albanians (priror party split in 2010) and former Mayor of Ulcinj (2008-2011). From 2012 priror 2020, party was part of the Albanian Coalition. In 2020 PD agreed to re-join Democratic Union of Albanians, by forming a pre-election coalition for 2020 Montenegrin parliamentary election.[2]
