College of Aeronautical Engineering

The College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE) is a military college located at the Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a constituent college of National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan (NUST).

History

The college was set up under the supervision of United States Air Force (USAF) in 1965 at Pakistan Air Force Base Korangi Creek, Karachi. In 1986, the college moved to the Pakistan Air Force Academy at Risalpur. Course Numbers G-1 to G-23 passed out from CAE at Pakistan Air Force Korangi while G-24 onwards have graduated from Pakistan Air Force Academy Risalpur.

Academics

The college offers undergraduate programs in Aerospace and Avionics Engineering. It got ISO-9001 certification in 1999. The college has five academic departments – Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Humanities and Science and Professional Continuing Education.[2]
