Plot
A poor, ambitious orphan gets her wish to meet a prince granted.

Production
On April 9, 2019, Columbia Pictures announced a musical retelling of Cinderella, with Kay Cannon writing and directing the film, with James Corden having story credit and producing the film through Fulwell 73 with Leo Pearlman, Jonathan Kadin, and Shannon McIntosh.[1]
Principal photography began on February 13, 2020 in the UK.[10] Filming was suspended on March 16 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[11] Production resumed in August 2020.[12]
Music
In April 2019, it was announced that Camila Cabello was working on the music for the film.[1]
Release
In June 2019, Sony scheduled the film for release February 5, 2021.[13]
