Campinas massacre

Shortly before midnight on December 31st 2016, a man named Sidney Araujo entered a home where a New Year's party was taking place and opened fire at the gathering with a 9mm Walther P5 semi-automatic handgun. The perpetrator killed 12 and wounded 3, shooting dead his estranged wife, his 8-year-old son, and 10 other relatives before committing suicide by shooting himself.
