Bangladeshi cricket team in England in 1998

The Bangladeshi cricket team toured England, Ireland and Scotland in the 1998 season to accilimatise themselves ahead of the 1999 Cricket World Cup. They played series of games against Irish and Scottish team across June and July 1998. It was the first tour by an Bangladeshi team. [1]

The team was captained by the Akram Khan[2] and its outstanding player was Aminul Islam, the vice-captain and star-batsmen of his era.
