Andreas Michalopoulos

Andreas Michalopoulos (Greek: Ανδρέας Μιχαλόπουλος; born 23 January 1949), is a former Greek footballer (striker) born in Patras. He was a member of Panachaiki football team that qualified for the 1974 UEFA Cup.[1]

Before the UEFA Cup 1973-74 game against GAK, an injury seemed to put an early end to his career. The young striker managed to help his team some more years, but he only played 48 games in five seasons until 1979, when he officially retired.

After the end of his professional career, Michalopoulos has coached Panachaiki senior team in the late 90s as well as at the beginning of the 1996–97 season. He has also been the coach of the Greek junior national team.
