Afyonkarahisar Province, also called Afyon Province by locals, is in western Turkey. Surrounding provinces are Kütahya to the northwest, Uşak to the west, Denizli to the southwest, Burdur to the south, Isparta to the southeast, Konya to the east, and Eskişehir to the north. The capital of the Afyon Province is Afyonkarahisar and cover an area of 14.230 km2, with a population of about 697,559 according to a 2010 estimate.[1]
