The Department of Business Administration aims to foster global talent anywhere in the world through the establishment of the Global Learning Eco-System, including regional studies-business convergence education, overseas experience education for all students, and an all-around English course. The department of e-business will sign an MOU with German software company 'SAP' to conduct classes. Finally, there is the Department of Financial Engineering, which has a mission to foster leaders in the financial industry and conduct world-class research by competing exclusively with leading universities in the government's world-class university development project (WCU) financial engineering. It is designed to strengthen the educational and research capabilities of universities by attracting foreign scholars with excellent research capabilities to domestic universities, and to promote research on key areas of future national development.

The medical school opened in 1988 and the pharmacy in 2011. Both schools have high competition rates for admission, and despite their short history, they offer high-quality education. As the French government and the Korean government established Ajou University on their own, it is well known that there is a French and French department within the College of Humanities. It is the first Korean university to join the French-speaking university organization (AUF), providing opportunities for French and French students to interact with students from other countries in French. Every year, a summer camp in Africa is held and the French Cooperation Center is operated. Under the multiple degree agreement, students can study one year each at the main school and at the graduate school of Paris 10 University to obtain master's degrees from both universities at the same time.

From April 12, 1973, 1,272 books were purchased with one librarian. In 1983, Daewoo Group Kim Dae-woo, chairman of the Daewoo Group, donated 5 billion won to renovate the Central Library. The new total floor space was 4,026 pyeong. On October 16, 2017, the entire library on the second floor was converted into a community lounge through remodeling. In addition, on the first floor, the space that was previously used for the corridor was expanded to build a café, allowing rest space and convenience facilities.

The campus is mainly served by two large cafeterias and many minor restaurants. The biggest restaurant is close to the dormitories and is called the Dormitory Restaurant. It has two floors and serves both Korean and Western style foods with a daily rotating menu. The second biggest restaurant is called the Student Restaurant, and is located in the Student Union building. There are also smaller restaurants in Paldal hall, Dasan hall and Jonghap Hall.
