3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China

The Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held from June 12–20, 1923, in Guangzhou. There was a united front formed based on cooperation between the governing Kuomintang political Party, and the new Communist Party of China. It succeeded the foundational 2nd National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The congress elected the 3rd Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of China. The 4th National Congress of the Communist Party of China would follow.[1]
