2020 Birthday Honours

The 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours are appointments by some of the 16 Commonwealth realms of Queen Elizabeth II to various orders and honours to reward and highlight good works by citizens of those countries. The Birthday Honours are awarded as part of the Queen's Official Birthday celebrations during the month of June. The Queen's Birthday Honours for the United Kingdom would normally have been announced in June, but were delayed until the Autumn because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] The honours for New Zealand were announced on 1 June and for Australia on 8 June.

Australia

The 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours for Australia were announced on 8 June 2020 by the Governor-General, David Hurley.[2]

New Zealand

The 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours for New Zealand were announced on 1 June 2020.[3]
