2007–09 ICC World Cricket League
The 2007–09 ICC World Cricket League was the inaugural season of the ICC World Cricket League. It was composed of 7 tournaments, played between January 2007 and April 2009, as well as a series of pre-qualifying regional tournaments. 30 Associate and Affiliate members of the ICC participated in the events. It formed part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The 2009 Cricket World Cup Qualifier was the final tournament, from which the top four teams qualified to play in the World Cup, and the six top teams obtained ODI status for the next four years.

Structure
The league structure was organised with the five global divisions.[1] The regional tournaments were administered by the five Development Regions of the International Cricket Council: Africa, Americas, Asia, East Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
