1976 World Professional Match-play Championship

The 1976 World Professional Match-play Championship was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament held from 28 November to 11 December 1976 at the Nunawading Basketball Centre on Burwood Highway, in Burwood East, Melbourne, Australia. The event was promoted by Eddie Charlton.[2]

The first round matches were played from 28 November to 1 December with the quarter-finals on 2 and 3 December, the semi-finals from 4 to 6 December and the final from 7 to 11 December.

Charlton won in the final 31–24 against Ray Reardon.[3][1]
