1912 Major League Baseball season

During the 1912 Major League Baseball season, the twelfth season of modern Major League Baseball after the founding of the American League, Harper's Weekly conducted a detailed accounting of the expenses of Major League clubs, and came up with a figure of around $175,000 to $200,000.[1]
