Tone is located in the most southern part of Ibaraki. Its name derives from the Tone River.

- 🌍 Kōmō Shrine (蚊もう神社), 882, Tachigi,, ☎ +81 297 68 7278, fax: +81 297 68 8957. Very old shrine. According to oral heritage, it was founded in 288BC lore and there are written records dating back to 698AD. Free.
