Understand

In the early 20th century, Plainfield was a getaway from New York City and a place of residence for the rich and famous, and there are still many buildings in town that reflect its former history. Unfortunately, Plainfield was affected by the riots that centered on Newark in the 60s and became a victim of white flight and economic depression. Recently, there have been efforts to restore some of the town's former grandeur.

gollark: `is-even` actually depends on `is-odd`, and just uses that with the `!` operator.
gollark: `is-even` is popular too. It checks if a number is *even*.
gollark: Oh, several TENS of millions, silly me.
gollark: `is-number` is basically a package with several million weekly downloads with about five lines of code which test if a value is a number.
