There are bus services operated by Stagecoach from Mayfield High Street to Heathfield and Tunbridge Wells. During the day, these run half-hourly, but do not run late into the evening.

  • The Middle House, High Street, +44 1435 872146. Built in 1575 and once occupied by Sir Thomas Gresham, the Middle House has accommodation, bar food and an a la carte restaurant. There is also a beer garden, and accommodation. The owners have opened a delicatessen in the High Street selling bread, meat, cheese and vegetables.
