Huntly is a small town in the county of Aberdeenshire, in North East Scotland. The population of Huntly is around 4000 people.

The nearest airport is in Aberdeen. Taxis from Aberdeen Airport charge approximately Β£60-Β£80 for a one way trip. You can also take a taxi from the airport to Aberdeen train station and catch a train from there to Huntly.

See
- π Huntly Castle. Open daily all year; closed ThβF in winter.. This has been the site of several buildings. The first was a 12th century stone tower; the second was a large stone tower built in the early 15th century. Over the course of its history, Huntly Castle has burnt down, but the edifice that was repaired by the Gordon family still stands today.
- π Leith Hall, AB54 4NQ (7 miles south of Huntly). Hall open summer only, grounds all year. This is the beautiful home of the Leith-Hay family dating back to 1650. Home to tapestries, china, artwork and furniture; it gives an intriguing insight into the lives of those who have lived there. Hall Β£10.50.
Do
- The Falconry Centre is definitely worth a visit. You will see flying demonstrations and there is a lovely cafΓ© and picnic area.
- Horse trekking is a big pastime in the area and apparently there are more horses than cattle in Aberdeenshire! There are a number of centres that will take you out on the fabulous woodland trails.

The Farmers Market is held here first Saturday of the month 09:00-13:00 in Market Square.

There are a number of pubs in Huntly serving fine whiskies as well as food.
