Falkenberg is a town in Halland on Sweden's west coast.

By plane

Suitable airport are From the Gothenburg Landvetter and Gothenburg City airports (connection by the airport bus to Gothenburg and then train, Halmstad airport (connection by local bus and train) and Copenhagen airport (2½ hour travel time by direct train)

By train

Travel from Gothenburg, Malmö and Copenhagen and other coast cities is by the Öresundståg trains. Tickets for Öresundståg train can be bought with credit card in machines at the station. They are not sold onboard, must be prebought. The train station is located in a suburb, and a local bus connection or a 2 km walk is needed.

By car

The European road E6/E20 passes through Falkenberg, and is suitable from Malmö, Copenhagen, Gothenburg etc. From Stockholm you could drive roads E4, 40, 26 and finally road 150.

Get around

The city center is easily accessible by foot. Other options are bicycle and car. There is a bus network run by Hallandstrafiken.
