Clogherhead

Clogherhead (Irish: Ceann Chlochair, "rocky headland") is in County Louth on the east coast of Ireland.

By car

Clogherhead can be accessed directly from Drogheda by following signposts. it is roughly 10km or a 15 minute drive from Drogheda. Access from Dublin is best using the motorway, taking the south Drogheda exits and continuing as above.

By bus

Bus Éireann 189 goes from Drogheda to Clogherhead:

Drogheda (Bus Station) → Drogheda (Hospital) → Baltray (The 19th Pub) → Termonfeckin (Northbound stop) → Clogher (Louth, Main Street) → Grangebellew (Doherty's Pub)

See

Clogherhead is a busy fishing village along the east coast and the newly developed pier is a must see especially during the summer months where diving and fshing are common activities. The old church ruins and graveyard are a must see.
