Baltimore (Ireland)

Baltimore is a village on Ireland's southwest coast in County Cork. Baltimore Harbour is a large, well sheltered natural harbour and is very popular with sailors. The nearest town is Skibereen, a ten minute drive away. Popular with sailors it is welcoming for all tourists. A pleasant relaxing day or could be spent here. The village is busiest during the summer months.

Get in

Own car is best. Small car park(20 cars) beside pier. Buses daily from Skibereen. Check "Bus Eireann" website. Walking from Skibereen strongly discouraged due to narrow, busy road. Cycling possible. Taxis. Anchorages available for yachts.

One of the best reasons to come to Baltimore is for the food. At least 8 restaurants most of which will serve some local seafood. Irish, French, Italian. Pubs also serve great food here.
