Angoulême

Angoulême is the capital of the Charente department. It lies about 135km north of Bordeaux in south west France.

By plane

Budget airline Ryanair flies from London Stansted to Angoulême-Brie Champniers airport, about 15km northeast of the town. The airport is also known as Angoulême Cognac.

From Paris, there is a train ( TGV) that can bring you to Angouleme in 2h10 ( from Gare Montparnasse that is also a Metro station)

Get around

You can get to Angouleme by the very frequent service from Paris Montparnasse, south towards Bordeaux, Libourne, Chalais, Arcachon and further south. You can get corail intercities, TER, and the very well-known TGV, renowned for its speed, and of course Teoz.

gollark: For "fast stupider web-y Python" Go somewhat works, but I don't think it's generally very good.
gollark: I think languages which do are generally better than ones which don't.
gollark: Yes. However, having a language which actually ALLOWS YOU TO WRITE THAT as a generalized thing would be better without compromising elegance with weird special cases like Go also does.
gollark: Parallel iterators would make that code clearer, actually simpler (not Go-"simpler") and less error-prone.
