Zoids: The Battle Begins is a 1986 battle simulation developed and released in Europe for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX and C64 personal computers by Martech, licensed by the Zoids toy manufacturer Tomy.

Gameplay

Players control a human who has fused with a machine known as a Spiderzoid; this human has been tasked with reclaiming the six parts of a large machine named Zoidzilla. These parts have been captured by the enemy Red Zoids, each part reclaimed will boost the power of the player's Spiderzoid.[1]

gollark: UWP seems, based on my very limited knowledge of Windows, to be more optimized for (ew) C++.

gollark: calculator ideas:- hardware implementation of a JS engine- gravel/other stack language calculator- thermoelectricity powered calculator (cooler than solar)- binary lambda calculator (only three buttons needed!)- have some sort of symbolic algebra features for purposes- configurable arbitrary-complex-number bases- calculator with switch which enables modular arithmetic- xylochoron-style base infinity output- built-in paint program- virtual reality mode
