Yuka Ebihara (announcer)

Yuka Ebihara (海老原 優香, Ebihara Yuka, born 3 April 1994) is a Fuji Television female announcer.

Biography

She was born from Tokyo. Her height is 169 cm (5 ft 6 12 in).

She graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University International Secondary School and Gakushuin University Faculty of Literature, English and American culture.[1]

She won the Grand Prize at the "Miss Learning Center Contest 2015" at the university and the semi-Grand Prix at "Miss of Miss Campus Queen Contest 2016".[2]

In April 2017, she joined Fuji Television as an announcer. She was joined with Koki Adake, Akiko Kuji, and Shoui Kurose.[3]

From October 2017 she will serve as MC Assistant for Tokudane![4]

Personal life

She has been interested in international affairs since she was young and have the experience of studying abroad in three countries.[5]

She received a recruitment award at the Model United Nations All-Japan Competition at the time of her third grade high school.[6] During her college years, she was engaged in the inter-college circle "Japan simulated UN Hiyoshi Study Group" which is active mainly at Keio University and focused on the agenda dealt with by the United Nations Security Council.[7] In her third college year, she participated in a charity event in Australia for two weeks and engaged in local educational support activities.[8]

She has a qualification of ordinary car menkyo, Eiken 2nd Grade, Kanji kentei 2 grade, Japanese Language Examination 3rd grade, and Ability Test 3rd grade.[9]

Her hobbies include traveling, eating, and snowboarding.[9] In high school she belonged to the volleyball club and served as a captain.
