"You've Got a Lover" is a song written by Shake Russell, and recorded by American country music artist Ricky Skaggs. It was released in July 1983 as the fourth single from his album Highways & Heartaches. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart[1] and #1 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.[2]
