Location
Xanadu is located south of Utah State Route 266, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Salt Lake City and 8 miles (7 nautical miles) of Salt Lake City International Airport.[3][1][2]
Geography
The community of Xanadu lies within the city of Taylorsville and borders the Jordan River to the east and south.[4] The elevation is listed as 4,265 feet (1,300 meters) above sea level, but drops as low as 4,245 feet along the Jordan River and rises as high as 4,285 feet along Shellbourne Lane on topographical maps.[1]
