World Music Festival Chicago

The World Music Festival Chicago ( Also known as Chicago World Music Festival) is a music festival held in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is held annually by the city.[1][2] It lasts for eight days and has featured musicians from over 75 countries since its inception.[3]

The festival was founded by Michael Orlove.[2] However, he was laid off in 2011, and the director of performing arts at Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, Shoshona Currier, was in charge of scheduling the 2012 event.[2]

Performers at the festival have included:

gollark: Oh, that's my alt.
gollark: It just generates it from a folder.
gollark: It's an index thing which does thumbnails and whatever.
gollark: Steal them from https://i.osmarks.net/memes-or-something instead.
gollark: Oh no.
