Within the Tyrant's Demesne is an adventure in a society under the reign of an evil count.[1]

Reception

Chris Hunter reviewed Within the Tyrant's Demesne for Imagine magazine, and stated that " The complexity of who is helping/ fighting whom and why, means that if the module is to be used in anything like the intended detail a large wall chart of what's going on is essential. My only criticism is that the whole thing could have been laid out a little more clearly."[2]

Rick Swan reviewed Within the Tyrant's Demesne in Space Gamer No. 73.[1] Swan commented that "The setting is heavily political and may be too dry for some, but clever touches abound - I especially liked the 'Weepons' shop operated by an enterprising insect (who's all business)."[1]

gollark: Well, your tuxuous complaints don't make my code work faster, do they‽
gollark: Hmm. This is a problem. It seems like database I/O is a bottleneck; I may need to refactor appropriately.
gollark: `let meta = read_opf(path_append(&book_dir, "metadata.opf")).with_context(|| format!("OPF metadata parsing for {:?}", book_dir))?;`
gollark: According to data from the GTech™ ELOA-4 telescope array, the XML parser has a velocity of 0.653 *c* and is on course to intercept Earth.
gollark: Did you know? You are contained within the XML parser. The XML parser cannot be escaped.
