Meaning
The song is about a sad and troubled girl being comforted by a man. There is a scene at the ending where monster surrounded the girl, then showing up in a place full of happiness after. It shows that the girl probably found peace after the man helped her, with the lines "Now it's time to kiss away those tears goodbye".
It's also supposedly for children who are suffering from terminal illnesses.
It is about the kids suffering and the tears were wiped away when their pain was taken away (by passing)
