William B. Rudman

William B. Rudman (born 1944[1]), usually known as Bill Rudman,[2] is a malacologist from New Zealand and Australia.[2] In particular he studies sea slugs, opisthobranch gastropod molluscs, and has named many species of nudibranchs.

He is perhaps most widely known for his website, the Sea Slug Forum, which is affiliated with the Australian Museum. The Sea Slug Forum is a voluminous resource, which in Rudman's words: "aims to generate more interest in these fascinating animals by sharing information with a worldwide audience.".[3] Sea Slug Forum has information and numerous images of nudibranchs, bubble-snails, sea hares and other kinds of sea slugs. It was discontinued in 2010 after 14,523 messages had been posted.[4] It is still online as a resource, but not accepting new messages.

gollark: <@151391317740486657> ACTUALLY THINK PLEASE
gollark: But concurrent lua with side effects everywhere and overuse of debug? It'll be impossible.
gollark: But concurrency will improve potatOS's speed *and* make it 4050‰ harder to reason about!
gollark: With use of concurrency it may become as much as potato % faster.
gollark: PotatOS Tetrahedron is coming soon and will streamline the potatOS code to make it easier and cooler.
