Rathmannsdorf

Rathmannsdorf is a township in the Saxon district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge. Rathmannsdorf is 2 km (1 mi) down the Elbe from Bad Schandau.

Geography

The township's highest point is a plateau near Bad Schandau 200 meters above sea level, with the lowest point 120 meters above sea level along the Elbe. The township consists of the districts Wendischfähre, Höhe, Zauke, Plan and Gluto.[3]

History

Rathmannsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1443. Rathmannsdorf along with Bad Schandau, Porschdorf, and Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna form a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. The town is also a stop on the Sebnitztalbahn part of the Sächsische Semmering-Bahn, a local railroad.

gollark: I think because the main advantage was that it wouldn't produce neutrons in some sort of fusion reaction, and neutrons cause problems, except it still would because of the fuels each fusing with themselves.

gollark: I too want vast swathes of land to be covered in generators which will not even work half the time because of "night" and "poor weather", which are hilariously energy-expensive to produce in the first place, and which will break after 40 years.

gollark: Also, anticentrism seems to imply you'd prefer, say, an extreme ideology in the opposite direction to yours over a generic middling centrist one, which is... odd?
