The school offers tuition from nursery and reception class up to year 6 (ages 3-11).[2]

In its June 2013 Ofsted inspection, the school was rated "Outstanding" in all areas.[3]

In 2019, Watlington Primary School converted to academy status,[1][4] and joined the Acer Trust, a multi-academy trust of Oxfordshire schools.[5]
