Watergrasshill
Watergrasshill (Irish: Cnocán na Biolraí (Watercress Hill)) is a small village in north east County Cork, Province of Munster, Ireland. The 2016 census recorded a population of 1,346.[2] Bypassed in 2003, the town is situated on the R639 road. It is accessible via junction 17 of the M8 motorway. The National Ploughing Championships were held there in 1974 and 1979. Watergrasshill is a thriving community with many services and amenities such as shops, salons, bars and restaurants. [3] Watergrasshill is part of the Cork North-Central (Dáil constituency).
