Wataru Murofushi (室伏 航, Murofushi Wataru, born 13 June 1995) is a Japanese footballer who plays for Canadian club York9 as a midfielder.

Albirex Niigata (S)

Murofushi signed for Albirex Niigata Singapore FC after graduating from Juntendo University,[1][2] despite wanting to go to the United States.[3] A brilliant first season with the White Swans saw him win all 4 domestic trophies while winning the Player of the Season Award.[4]

York9

On January 22, 2019, Murofushi signed with Canadian Premier League side York9.[5] He made his debut in York9's inaugural match against Forge FC on April 27, 2019.[6] Murofushi scored his first goal for York9 on August 25, 2019 against FC Edmonton[7]
