Wajid Shamsul Hasan
Wajid Shamsul Hasan is a Pakistani diplomat. Since 22 June 2008, he has served as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom.[1]
Family
He belongs to Effendi Family of Hyderabad also known as Akhund. He is married to Zarina Hasan.[1]
Incorrect and.mileading information. late Mr. Wajid Hasan Effendi was Commissioner Income Tax and died sometime 1984/85. He was son of Ali Akbar Effendi son of Khan Bhadur Hasan Ali Effendi, the founder of Sindh Madrassatul Islam.
Cricket controversy
In response to the 2010 Pakistan cricket spot-fixing controversy, Hasan condemned the International Cricket Council for banning the three Pakistani players charged with spot-fixing.[2]
