WGWB
"WGWB" was a WB-affiliated cable channel serving Greenville and New Bern, North Carolina, United States. The call sign is fictional as the channel was not licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Rather, it was part of The WB 100+ Station Group, a group of non-broadcast local cable outlets for media markets below the top 100 markets. It was carried on various cable systems throughout the Greenville–New Bern market, including Time Warner Cable on channel 31, and was also available on DirecTV on channel 15. Prior to the sign-on of WGWB, viewers in eastern North Carolina received WB programming via the Chicago-based superstation WGN or from Raleigh's WB affiliates, first WNCN, later WRAZ and then WLFL.

On January 24, 2006, it was announced that The WB and UPN would merge into a new network called The CW. On February 22, 2006, News Corporation announced that it would create a new programming service called MyNetworkTV. Both networks debuted in September 2006. WNCT-TV's second digital subchannel affiliated with The CW, and WFXI/WYDO's second subchannel affiliated with MyNetworkTV. A subchannel of WCTI-TV, which formerly held the UPN affiliation for the area, became ENC-TV, an independent station.
