"La Copa de la Vida" peaked at number two. Three other songs also charted one the Hot Latin Songs: "Corazonado" (number twenty), "La Bomba" (number twenty-seven) and "Por Arriba, Por Abajo" (number thirty-three).
"La Copa de la Vida" ("The Cup of Life") became the official song of the 1998 FIFA World Cup and topped the charts in many countries around the world. It became Martin's second international hit, after "María". Thanks to the success of "La Copa de la Vida", the album charted high on the charts around the world, including number one in Spain and Norway, number two in Australia and Sweden, number three in Hungary, number four in Switzerland, and number seven in Finland.
Vuelve was certified 3× Platinum, 2× Platinum, Platinum and Gold in many countries, including IFPI Platinum award, after selling one million copies in Europe. In Spain, it was certified 6× Platinum.
"La Bomba" was released as the second international single, peaking at number five in Spain. "Por Arriba, Por Abajo" was the third single, reaching number thirteen in Spain.
Martin also recorded a Spanish-language version of "Go the Distance" for the Hercules soundtrack, called "No Importa la Distancia" (English: "No Matter the Distance"). It was released as a single on July 1, 1997 and later included on Vuelve. The song reached number ten on the Latin Pop Songs in the United States. He also recorded a separate version for the Portuguese version of the Hercules soundtrack called "Já não há distancia" (English: "There's No Distance Now"), which was not included on Martin's album.
