Vladimir Ivanov (politician)
Vladimir Ivanovich Ivanov (Russian: Владимир Иванович Иванов; August 27 1893, Tula, Russia – November 6 1938) wad a Soviet politician who served as the first General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Uzbek SSR.
Ivanov served from 13 February 1925 until 1927. His replacement was Kuprian Kirkizh. He was purged in the last of the Moscow Trials, the Trial of the Twenty-One.
