With Central Railways having completed the changeover from DC to AC traction, it was hauled end to end by a Bhusaval based WAP 4. Later the link was given to Nagpur Division and the locomotives are shared with 12289/90 Nagpur Mumbai CSMT Duronto Express.

It is now hauls by a WAP 7 of AJNI electric loco shed end to end.
