Victoria Georgieva
Victoria Georgieva (Bulgarian: Виктория Георгиева; born 21 September 1997), known professionally by the mononym VICTORIA, is a Bulgarian singer and songwriter. She began her career after participating in season four of X Factor Bulgaria.[1] It was revealed on 25 November 2019 that Georgieva would have represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam.[2] Due to the 2020 contest's cancellation, it was announced that Georgieva will represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.[3]

Career
Early career
Georgieva started singing at age of eleven. After some time she enrolled in the vocal studio "Angel Voices" where her music teacher was Atanaska Lipcheva.[1] Georgieva auditioned for the first 3 seasons of X Factor Bulgaria, but she never made it past the judges, mostly because of her age.[4]

In 2015, after 3 attempts she finally made it past the judges and to the live shows. [5] She left the show on week 9.

2016–2017: Debut single and Monte Music
Even though she didn't win X Factor, she got an offer to join Virginia Records, but she declined it. In 2016 she joined Monte Music and on 10 June 2016 her first single was released. "Nishto Sluchayno" was directed by Bashmotion and featured VenZy and Niki Bakalov.[6] She also announce two more songs with MonteMusic - “Nezavurshen Roman” in 2016 and “Chast ot Men” in 2017. But during her stay in the label Victoria couldn’t reveal and find herself at 100%, so she left them.
2018: First international debut
In 2018 Vicky spent 10 days in LA, where she made and filmed her first English song “I wanna know”. For a first time she actually participated in the making of the lyrics. Director was Dimitry Stefanov, and the executive producer was Velina Ilieva. That was her breakthrough into the international music scene and the video already has more than 1M views!
2019: VICTORIA at Eurovision 2020
t was revealed on 25 November 2019 that Victoria will represent her country Bulgaria in the Eurovision 2020! She and her sponsor LigmaGroup made the song “Tears Getting Sober” – which tells about the inner difficulties in the people – a topic which is very close to Victoria. Unfortunately, because of the Covid-19, the Eurovision 2020 was canceled, but Victoria still will represent Bulgaria in Eurovision 2021 with a new song.
2020 - present: New summer song
In the summer of 2020, Vicky announce her song “Alright” – created in a Eurovision camps. The song carries a message of hope and a new beginning and it was filmed in the seasides of the town Burgas again by LigmaGroup. "Alright is dedicated to people who face daily difficulties and are constantly looking for the good in themselves," said Victoria, who is also co-director in the video. At the moment, Victoria and her team are working hard for the Eurovision 2021.
