Vencie Glenn

Vencie Leonard Glenn (born October 26, 1964) is a former American football safety in the National Football League. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft. He played college football at Indiana State.

Glenn also played for the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants.[1]

Glenn intercepted 35 passes during his career; he ranks #25 on the San Diego Chargers career interceptions list (12 INTs);[2] he is currently tied at #18 (14 INTs) on the Minnesota Vikings career interceptions list.[3] Glenn is the record holder for longest interception return in Chargers history, after scoring on a 103-yard return against the Denver Broncos in 1987.[4] This return is the third-longest in NFL history; it was the longest ever at the time until Ed Reed broke the record in 2004 and again in 2008.[5]

He led the NFL in 'Interception Return Yardage' in 1987 with 166 yards.[6]
