Veliyam
Veliyam is a village in Kerala, India. It is situated near Kottarakara in the Kollam district of Kerala. A. Sreedhara Menon briefly narrates the historical importance of this place in his book Kerala History. Veliyam Anchu Murthy Temple and Veliyam Subramanya Swami Temple famously known as Kerala Palani Veliyam Kovil are two most famous and oldest Temple in the village.
