Vanguard (film)
Vanguard is an upcoming Chinese action adventure spy-thriller drama film written and directed by Stanley Tong, starring Jackie Chan (in his sixth collaboration with Tong), Yang Yang and Miya Muqi. The film was scheduled to be released on 25 January 2020 in China, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Premise
An accountant is threatened by the world's deadliest mercenary organization and Covert security company Vanguard is the last hope of survival for him.

Production
The filming locations were in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and in Taiwan.[1]
Jackie Chan almost drowned while filming a scene for the film.[2][3]
Soundtrack
Among the artists on the Official Soundtrack are Jackie Chan, who sings the theme song "Ambition in my Heart", and Dimash Kudaibergen.[4]
Release
It was to be released on 25 January 2020 in China,[5][6] but was withdrawn due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[7]
The theatrical releases of Vanguard in Singapore and the Philippines have been delayed due to the postponement of the film's release in China.[8][9] As the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 in China caused the cancellation of many theatrical premieres, certain regulations prevent any Chinese film from being released overseas before the film's local release in China.[9]
