History

Redfox won the 1987 Eagle Award for Favourite New Comic[2] (although that was when it was being published by Harrier Comics). The Adventures of Luther Arkwright won three 1988 Eagle Awards, for Favourite Character, Favourite New Comic, and Favourite Comic Cover (The Adventures of Luther Arkwright #1).[3]

After publishing all ten issues of The Adventures of Luther Arkwright and the last ten issues of Redfox, Valkyrie Press ended their publishing operation. The previous issues of Redfox were published by Harrier Comics.[4][5] Many of the comics that Valkyrie Press published are still available for purchase online.[6]
