Club career

On 17 December 2019, Universitatea Craiova manager Victor Pițurcă confirmed the club rejected a €5 million bid from FCSB for Mihăilă, claiming even €10 million is not enough to buy the player.[2]

Mihăilă received significant media attention after contributing in all of Romania under-21's goals on 14 November 2019, as he scored three times and caused an own goal in the UEFA Euro 2021 qualifier against Finland.[3]
