History
The naval development of the continental territory of Central Asia was started by the Russians back in the 19th century. During the period of the Russian Empire the Aral Flotilla of the Naval Department and the Amudarya River Flotilla of the Military Department operated between 1852 and 1917 in Uzbekistan.[1] During the Russian Civil War, Soviet Russia acquired military fleets. In the Aral Sea, a special division of ships near Uzbekistan functioned as part of the Caspian Fleet. In 1943, a Russian naval base was founded in Tashkent. After 1991, the base came under the jurisdiction of Republic of Uzbekistan.[2]
gollark: Anyway, single-precision floats can hold 2^32 values. Assuming you want to map each float to another float, you therefore only need 2^36 bytes of memory to store the lookup table.
gollark: I agree.
gollark: * of, even
gollark: We actually have enough RAM now that you could plausibly have a lookup table for all 32-bit floats.
gollark: This is because floats have a finite size, so there are finitely many possible floats.
