Undivided Cachar district

The Undivided Cachar district[1] is a former administrative district of Assam Province that is largely congruous to Govinda Chandra's, the last king of the Kachari kingdom, domain in the Barak Valley, excluding the domain of Tularam Senapati. It has been divided into the present-day Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi districts in recent times.
