This village is very famous for Jawar(ಜೋಳ), Grapes (ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ) and Pomogranets, Peanuts, sunflower(ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತಿ) and sugarcane. Hindu and Muslims are living together and Hindus are Majority.75% The education options in this village are very good. This village has boys primary school, girls primary school, Girls and Boys High school (8th to 10th) and PUC.[1]
