UFC Fight Night 181 (also known as UFC on ESPN+ 39) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on October 17, 2020 at a TBD location.[1][2][3][4][5]

Background

While not officially announced by the organization, the promotion is targeting a featherweight bout between former title challengers Chan Sung Jung and Brian Ortega to serve as the event headliner.[6] The duo was previously scheduled to main event UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. The Korean Zombie in December 2019.[7] However, Ortega pulled out of the fight with a knee injury and was replaced by former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar.[8]
