The song peaked at number 5 on the Australian Kent Music Report singles chart[1] and number 6 on the Australian ARIA Chart singles chart in October 1988.

At the APRA Music Awards of 1990, the song won the Most Performed Overseas Work award.[2]

Lyrically, the singer is singing to another person, saying: "We've got two strong hearts, We stick together like the honey and the bee".
