Tuva in the Turkvision Song Contest

Tuva (Russian: Тува́) or Tyva (Tuvan: Тыва), officially the Tyva Republic (Russian: Респу́блика Тыва́, tr. Respublika Tyva, IPA: [rʲɪˈspublʲɪkə tɨˈva]; Tuvan: Тыва Республика, Tyva Respublika, [tʰɯˈʋa resˈpʰuplika]), is a federal subject of Russia (a republic, also defined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation as a state).[1] Tuva was one of the twenty-four participating countries and regions that competed in the Turkvision Song Contest.[2] The contest, which is also known as the Türkvizyon Song Contest, was an annual song contest created by Turkish music channel TMB TV. It was inspired by the format of the Eurovision Song Contest and the first edition first edition took place in Eskişehir, Turkey. The semi-final was held on 19 December 2013, with the grand final taking place on 21 December 2013.[3] Participants from Tuva made it to the semifinals in the 2013 and 2014 iterations of the contest, but no participants from Tuva qualified in 2015. The contest was last held on 19 December 2015, and has not been held since.[4]

gollark: Also, I need some kind of dependency graph sorter now?
gollark: Wow, I have no idea how the frequency FM modulation thing works.
gollark: I'm busy implementing an overly general sound generator program.
